Summer Camps

GO GREEN CAMP: Keep Brazos Beautiful is partnering with the Museum to have a weeklong camp that is geared to allow children to explore how he or she is connected to the environment! This camp is recommended for ages 5-12 years and is held June 7th - 11th. Camp is held from 9am-12pm.
SOUNDS AROUND TOWN MUSIC CAMP: Red Door School of Music along with the Museum will provide children ages 5-10 with a progressive, hands-on approach to music encouraging a lifelong appreciation of the arts! Camp is held June 14th-18th from 9am-12pm.
Junior and Master chef cooking camps: Participants in these week-long camps will learn about food from different countries as well as nutritional value and the importance of healthy eating. Throughout the camp, various activities teach the importance of healthy nutrition and portion control and enhance math and measurement skills. Junior Chef Cooking Camp is aimed for children ages 4 to 6 years, from 9am-12pm and Master Chef Cooking Camp is aimed for children ages 7 to 12 from 2-5pm. Both camps are held the week of June 21st- 25th.
Police and Firegator Camps: Led by the Bryan Police Department and the Bryan Fire Department, this summer camp teaches participants the tricks and trades of how to be a community hero. Campers learn how to train police dogs, put out real fires, and much more. Camps incorporate lessons on the importance of exercise and nutrition that city heroes need. Police Camp is aimed for children ages 8 to 12 years, and Firegator Camp is aimed for children ages 4 to 6 years. Firegator camp is held July 5th- 9th from 9am-12pm and Police Camp is held July 12th-16th from 9am-12pm.
WILDERNESS SURVIVAL ADVENTURE CAMP: Mark Sutter of Primitive Texas Living Skills will host this summer camp with the Museum and provide campers ages 7-16 with valuable skills to survive in the wilderness. Some activities will include designing and making shelter, tools for not getting lost, animal tracking and lots of other great survival tips! This camp is the week of July 19th-23rd from 9am-12pm.
Creative creatures and magnificent masterpieces: Art Camps provide children with the opportunity to express their own individuality as they explore and create masterpieces of their own. With the help of local artists and art professionals, participants will experience drawing and painting and various other creative mediums. Creative Creatures Art Camp is aimed for children ages 4 to 6 years from 9am-12pm and Magnificent Masterpieces Art Camp is aimed for children ages 7 to 12 years from 2-5pm. Both camps will be held July 26th-30th.
THINGS THAT GO! CAMP (FOR YOUR LITTLE ONE THAT IS ALWAYS ON THE MOVE): This Summer Camp will explore all things that go and promises to keep your little one on the move! This camp is recommended for children 3-4 years of age and will be held August 2nd - 4th from 9am-12pm.
All Camps (except Things That Go Camp) are $100 for members and $120 for non-members.
Things that go camp is $60 for Members and $80 for Non-members.
